This book is so beautifully thought out. The illustrations are so sweet and I love the gentle prompts throughout the book as you tell the story of your precious one. I have purchased a number of memory books over the years (including some very popular and expensive ones) and this is my favourite to date. If you're looking for a memory book for your upcoming arrival I wouldn't hesitate.

This is such a beautiful memory book. It gives you the freedom to record your memories exactly the way you want, with plenty of space for photos and personal touches. What sets it apart from many other baby memory books on the market is that it doesn't dictate what you should write or follow a rigid format. Instead, it allows you to capture your baby's journey in your own words, making the process feel natural and enjoyable rather than like a chore. Filling it in becomes a genuine pleasure and a wonderful way to preserve those precious little moments and milestones.

Such an excellent quality book, with amazing illustrations. I loved the moving story within, which made me quite emotional. Lots of places for photos and extra space at the back too, it also includes pages for special milestones, weight and measurement and other notes. This lovely book comes in a hard case slip to protect it. If you are on the fence about purchasing, I highly recommend going for it. A book clearly made with love.

How fast will my order arrive?

Is the book suitable for boys and girls?
Yes! It is completely gender neutral
My baby isn't a newborn anymore - can I fill it out retrospectively?
Absolutely. One of the great things about this book, is that it doesn't need to be filled out on a daily or weekly basis, and so it's a fun chance to look back at the first two years. Also, as you can use photos along the way too, there's unlikely to be a time you don't have plenty to fill it with!
There are a couple of pages in the back that you may not want to fill in completely however. These are the height chart and the list of firsts.
We have a rainbow family, will it still work for us?
Absolutely, we designed this book with all families in mind, including LGBTQ+ and those that co-parent. Our story features a joey and two main adult roos but there is no assumption over their roles or gender (mum, dad, support person, wider family etc).
Does the book assume that milestones are hit at particular times?
The book is put together in a way that does not assume timelines for development stages. Overall we have made an assumption that between 1 and 2 years old little Joey is on the move more than they were before and that by the time you've finished filling out the book (a little after 2 years old) a small selection of firsts will have happened e.g. smiled, laughed, sat up, crawled and walked. There is also a page at the end of the book for first words and sounds (which is left blank for you to fill in).
I'm a single parent, would it be OK for me?
Absolutely, though we do assume there are people around you that will share in these first two years with you. The narrative uses 'we' rather than 'I' which reflects those around you ie family and friends but never assumes a partner or a two parent unit.
I'm an adoptive parent, is it suitable for us?
Yes! However, there are various pages focussed on the time before little joey arrives, with space on certain pages intended for the sonogram, bump pictures etc. If you do not have these it wouldn't be a problem, rather there could be more photos from your life before and some more words in place of photos. Get in touch if you'd like more info.
I'm not in Australia or New Zealand. How can I get one?
We've decided to only make this book available in Australia and New Zealand for now. We do have plans to expand this, however, the book is heavy which makes it expensive to ship internationally. Get in touch if you'd like us to give you a quote for shipping and we'll do our best to arrange it for you.
