Jungle Tree Wall Decal Instructions

If you haven't already, measure.

Make sure you have a good idea where you want your beautiful tree to go. The total width of the tree is 1m 58cm and the trunk is slightly to the left of centre. The height can be adjusted to fit your wall height. 

Lay out your decals sheets

Use the numbered decal sheet maps above to find the order we put the pieces on the wall and which way up the pieces are designed to go.  Then, find your two first pieces.

Start at the top of the tree

Apply the first two sections just under the coving/moulding. 

Next, add the trunk and the connecting branches

Sections 4-7 are made to overlap with adjoining sections if necessary. Small differences in the angle of placement of each piece can cause pieces not to line up perfectly, and so we've designed these pieces to have a little spare length, so they're easier to apply.

It's leopard time!

Connect sections 5, 6 and 7

Add the remaining leafy sections

Connect 8 and then 9

Followed by 10, 11 and 12

The bottom of the trunk 

There are two methods for adding this - trim or overlap. Overlap works well when your trunk is just a little too long for the wall. If your trunk is a lot longer you may wish to trim it instead.

Standard Height Tree 

If you have the standard height tree, section 13 will be the bottom of your trunk. 

Method 1: Overlap - No Trim

* Remember to keep the piece you trim off in case you move

Extra Tall Tree

If you have the extra trunk section, apply section 13 first and then the extra trunk section to the bottom of your tree.

To adjust your trunk to fit the wall, you can use the same two methods as the standard height tree - trim or overlap. If you wish to overlap, do this at the top of section 13 as shown above, as the width of the extra trunk varies a little more and you won't get such a seamless result.

Add Your Finishing Touches

The leaves for the trunk and vines that connect to the branches give your tree a little extra greenery.
